Halloween Wail at the Gaol!

Visit Adelaide Gaol for the spookiest Halloween event in South Australia! One of Adelaide’s longest-running Halloween events returns this year bigger and better than ever with something for the whole family.

Prepare for a fright and test your nerves as you walk through the entire Gaol. From the zombie apocalypse to the alien experimentation lab. You never know what is awaiting you around the corner.

Try your luck on the arcade games in the creepy carnival (don’t forget your $1 coins)

After the mayhem of the Gaol, head out to our lawns for food trucks, live music, and games.  So, pull out your best costumes and prepare for some frightening fun.

We haven’t forgotten the littlest members of the family, with games, guided craft sessions and a treat trail to follow. Purchase your treat bag when making your booking and get your passport stamped along the way
to receive fun treats. Please be aware that treat bags must be pre-ordered.

Parking 

Due to the new Women’s and Children Hospital construction works happening around the Gaol there will be NO parking onsite. Disability permit parking available on site ONLY. 

We strongly encourage you to catch public transport. If you do require parking, please see our website Visitor Information page for the best places to park close to the Gaol. 

Public Transport

The closest tram stop is the Thebarton stop adjacent to George Steet, Thebarton. You can then walk through Bonython Park to the Gaol.
